This fully gutted kitchen in Naperville, was in desperate need of a modern update, and Jessica A. Gomes of Casa Bella Kitchen & Bath Remodelers was ready to take on the project.
The biggest design challenges were adding an island configuration into the small space and implementing extra storage to satisfy these party-hosting homeowners. By installing 12-foot base and wall cabinets on the microwave wall, the designer was able to provide the homeowners ample area to organize. Gomes also transformed the the former laundry room into a new walk-in pantry, so they new have storage galore!
A red island accent and a beautiful bronze potfiller a the perfect embellishments in this kitchen fit for a chef. The rustic-looking cabinetry gives the space character and provides a wonderful aesthetic wen entertaining. But the custom stone hood is a real showstopper, looking regal amid the handsome cabinetry.
For an added touch of functionality, a sink was placed in the pantry space. And thanks to the pocket doors on the custom cabinet, the undermount prep sink is perfectly hidden. Not only does the kitchen design exude perfect balance, but the home's overall palette blends harmoniously with all of the elements within.
